New you for November


Hello November.


A little recap on my October blog post. I hope some of my tips have helped with your Christmas planning and you have all managed to give it a try. I would love to get your thoughts and comments either on here or you can email me at coastalhoreslifecoaching@outlook.com.


I always wonder why people wait until the New Year to start a new health regime. Why not start now? I understand most people overindulge at Christmas, fell guilty and decide the New Year is the best time to kickstart a new health regime.


But why wait? Why not try something new this year and feel healthy and fit for Christmas.

From today start trying some of these ideas.


·         Start a food diary and fill it in every day. At the end of the week look at where you could improve and factor that into the following week. You will find that you will earn yourself some treats at Christmas.

·         If you are thinking about starting to exercise more, please consult your doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions and start slowly. Walking is a wonderful exercise, its free and it’s the perfect way to kick start your exercise regime.

·         If you are thinking of joining a gym in January, why not join one now. Gyms are good places because you will be supported by trained gym instructors and PFT’s who will encourage you on your fitness journey.

·         Swimming is a wonderful exercise, and a public swim session can be cost effective.

·         Try something new and find a friend who will start with you. You will encourage each other, and exercise is a great way to socialise in a healthy environment.


Give some of these a go and it will help you to have a healthy mind set over the Christmas period. And January won’t feel so daunting because you will already be fitter, healthier and happier and you will take the pressure off for the start of the New Year.
